LG V510 Will Be Future Nexus Tablet, Based On G Pad 8.3
It sure looks like that LG V510 tablet, which was recently outed thanks to a leaked service manual, will be a Nexus device. When the device was first revealed, many reports suggested it would be a G Pad 8.3 variant, and it appears those rumors were true. Perhaps we’ll see the same approach given to the Nexus 5, which was a distant relative to the G2, used with whatever Nexus tablet LG has in store. If true, perhaps the 8.3-inch device (we assume) will replace Google’s Nexus 10.
The confirmation comes by way of @evleaks, who said the LG V510 is indeed a Nexus device; the report is backed up by a lone screenshot, though not much information is revealed. Going by the leaked service manual from early this month, the device will feature an 8.3-inch 1920 x 1200 display, 2GB of RAM, 5-megapixel camera, 4600mAh battery and dimensions of 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3mm. Will this be Google’s Nexus 8?
8-inch screen, Nexus 8. Makes sense. With a bigger screen in tow, we’ll likely see a higher price attached to the device when it officially hits (if it is indeed real). We’ll see if anything else develops over the next few days.
