Stability Test for Nexus 4
AnTuTu Benchmark has released the latest version 3.1.1. A new stability test has been added. It
seems has no relationship with benchmark, but it can help us find out the secret of performance.
Ordinary benchmark test has time limit and it would not take a long time to do a full test. The
performance of your device would not stay the same, sometimes it may be lazy.
Google Nexus 4 adopts the fatest chip at present: Qualcomm 8064. Some people say that the
performance will be much better if put it in the refrigerator. This time, we put it in an environment
of 35 degrees Celsius, run satability test to check what would happen.
The Stability Test of AnTuTu has adopt one part of AnTuTu Test Suite, which is a benchmark
application specially for enterprises. In this test result, the above image is performance, below is
temperature. X axis represents test times, Y axis represents curves.

Google Nexus 4 got 50 at the very beginning. You should note that this score is different from AnTuTu
Benchmark. And then it had been below this score. It seems that Google Nexus 4's performance
decline very fast, then stay stable in this range.Meanwhile, the temperature rised from 35 degrees
Celsius at first to 47 degrees Celsius finally, Google Nexus 4 can still keep working well. Since the
performance declined at the very beginning, we can know that the performance degradation valve LG
has setup on devices will turn on at 35 degrees Celsius.
The function of stability is more than a standard to measure performance. If devices has no restriction
to its high performance, then it will be ruined by temperature and cause system crash. We hope we can
test whether device can proper functioning in various environments through this test.
