Umeox X5 The Worlds Thinnest Phone To Be Unveiled At IFA Nex

The world thinnest phone in the form of the Chinese made Umeox x5 which was first unveiled back in June of this year, will be officially unveiled at the upcoming IFA electronic show taking place in Berlin next month.

Very little is known about the new Umeox x5 smartphone other than it is equipped with a 5.3 inch display and powered by a MediaTek chip and measures an ultra thin 5.6mm.

 

Beating both the current holder in the form of the 6mm Huawei Ascend P6 and the Vivo X3 which measures 6mm and will launch next month.

However rumours suggest that the Umeox x5 smartphone might be equipped with 5 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 8 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs. and come running Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always. The IFA electronics show starts  September 6th 2013 and runs until September 11th 2013 in Berlin.
